Hello from New York! 

I’m currently on break in the city to see some friends and escape the UK for a bit and figured it was finally time to get some updates out! It has been, as you can imagine, busy! I hit about halfway through the term and then it took off at light speed! Term 2 did go pretty well, though. I feel like I am starting to gain some footing on how to balance studying and having a real life.

Pretty easy update on life here recently. I have been just studying. We are currently in our neurology and pathology units. And as you can imagine, neurology is complicated!

hello from TEXAS! 

I have officially touched down in Texas and made it home in one piece, shockingly not jet lagged! So now that I am no longer in the fray of final (singular final by the way, which is somehow infinitely worse), I figured I’d finally give a recap of the last several months!

A quick weekend gallivant in Scotland with some friends! With all the chaos of the semester, I never got to send all the details of the trip so here they are now!

The first 2 weeks of actual class are done! The first real week, my classes were all part of the course “Principles of Animal Form and Function” (PAFF). We’re currently in the locomotion unit so all of the lectures were focused on tissues, muscles, and bones and thinking about the musculoskeletal system and movement. All really interesting!

After weeks of waiting, classes are finally about to start! The last 2 weeks of moving and orientation have been flying by. My parents and I left Houston on September 22nd with a grand total of 5 bags.
