Hello from London!

The first 2 weeks of actual class are done! The first real week, my classes were all part of the course “Principles of Animal Form and Function” (PAFF). We’re currently in the locomotion unit so all of the lectures were focused on tissues, muscles, and bones and thinking about the musculoskeletal system and movement. All really interesting!

After weeks of waiting, classes are finally about to start! The last 2 weeks of moving and orientation have been flying by. My parents and I left Houston on September 22nd with a grand total of 5 bags.

At what point of pretending or avoiding does Alex completely lose touch with the person beneath the personas? With each person she manipulates, how far does she get washed away from her self and humanity?

Even in a city as large and vast as Toyko, a life-altering encounter or connection could happen if you just allow yourself to go into the world.

It’s wonderfully written and feels reminiscent of the women of “Game of Thrones”, learning to play the game as nothing but a young girl from a powerful family and understanding the consequences of diplomatic failures…
